Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Oh my dearies!

Today I received my first DD with this account and I'm still so happy!

This totally made my day and since I just can't thank you for each and every fav, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to you guys!!

The feedback today was amazing and I was quite overwhelmed

After so much thanking for watches (there are a lot more to answer^^) dA obviously thinks I'm spamming people's profiles

I'll keep on with the watches tomorrow, that's a thing I want to do

But alas, there's still one and a half outfits to sew in two weeks for I spontanously decided to visit the WGT this year xD So I'll be in Leipzig from May 24th-27th and then will head on to Berlin for the German Fetish Ball, where I'll participate in Isabeau Ouvert Latex Fahsion's fashionshow Sunday night

First, I just wanted to go to the GFB but destiny seemed to nudge me to the WGT a few times...so I decided to give in and travel there with my friend

and a beautiful and most creative lady named Jumeria

I was quite excited that I now really managed to plan for the WGT 2012 but - oh dear - that means, I need outfits!! o.O
So now I'll try something fairy-like in green taffeta and another something in white. But the most beautiful outfit will be my corset-dress which lovely Verena from

and I designed together and which she will make for me in the next days so it's ready to wear at the WGT

Wow...I actually wanted to do a rare thing these days and write another chapter of my fantasy story *irony-mode on* which one day will be a smashing best-seller work *irony-mode off* but now I spent too much time on the internet again

So I'll rather be off to bed now...need to be awake for more sewing tomorrow! Clock's ticking
